Sarah is the founder of NOVAVET.
Sarah Langridge is from County Armagh in Northern Ireland. She qualified as a vet from the University College Dublin School in 2004. After six years mixed practice in the United Kingdom she came to the Algarve in 2009 to work as a volunteer at the Goldra Animal Refuge in Loulé under the auspices of the Worldwide Veterinary Service. After further volunteer trips abroad (India with IAR, Catastrophes) and two return trips to Portugal she came to live in the Algarve in 2010.
She opened NOVAVET in 2012 to offer a basic treatment, vaccination and sterilisation service for dogs and cats. Novavet has evolved over the years and now offers a more comprehensive service including on site blood analysis, x-ray and basic ultrasound. Dr Juan Diaz brought greater technical knowledge and a naturalistic component to Novavet when he became a partner.
